Assignment #13

Hello

This is assignment #13

which we have to answer the following questions:

Who won the War of 1812? Why do you think that?
Is there always a winner in a war? Why or why not?

These are my answers:

The British won the war of 1812 !! I think that because most of the battles the British won!!

There is always a winner in a war!! There is because the war is for winning and losing
so there has to be a winner and a loser!!

Finish

Thank you

Assignment #8

This is my assignment # 8

This is the question:Your assignment is to read about Louis Riel to try to understand some of the reasons why people feel so strongly about him, either positively or negatively. You will then write an imaginary interview between you and Louis Riel, giving him an opportunity to talk about himself and defend his decisions. You have to make sure to introduce him, like an interviewer would, telling your audience a little bit about who it is you are talking to and why he is important. Then, you will write three (or more) questions to be asked by you and answered by him. You must write both the questions and the answers.

Gofran Hashim:Today we have a special guest which is Louis Riel

Louis Riel:I'm so glad to be a special guest.

Gofran Hashim:We are supposed to be glad for you that you are our special guest todayLouis Riel:thanks so much

Louis Riel:and i'm born in October 22 1844, and i was a Canadian politician and a founder of the province of Manitoba. Also leader of the Métis people of the Canadian Praries. Really i was forced into exile in the United States as a result of the controversial execution of Thomas Scott during the rebellion. Also While a fugitive i was was elected three times to the Canadian House of Commons, although i never assumed my seat. During these years, i was frustrated by having to remain in exile despite his growing belief that i was a divinely chosen leader and prophet, a belief which would later resurface and influence my actions.

Gofran Hashim:If you don't mind, could i ask you some questions???

Louis Riel:No problem!!how was your early life??

Louis Riel:first thing i was the oldest of eleven children,i was born near modern winnepeg Riel in my father had gained prominence in this community by organizing a group that supported Guillaume Sayer.I was first educated by Roman Catholic priests at St. Boniface.

Gofran Hashim:Do you have a family with children???

Louis Riel:ofcourse yes, i got married in 1881, while in exile in Montana, and fathered two children.

Gofran Hashim:and last question, what is the Red River Rebillion???

Louis Riel:It was the first resistance!!

Gofran Hashim:It was a great chance to meet you!!We are so glad and happy to meet you!!

Louis Riel:Me too i'm also glad to meet you and thanks so much!!

Hi everyone

Even with the clues it was hard for me to guess who was my History Maker.
Both of us share that we both were born in Ontario , both of us have 2 brothers and sisters,
Both of us like painting, Both of us have nicknames.

What is different between us is He is born in March 3 1890 ,but me i'm born in November 22 1996.

He had 1 older sister and i younger brother, but i have 1 older brother and 1 older sister.

And lots more

Norman  Bethune was born in March 3 1890 in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
He had 1 older sister and 1 younger brother.
His first language was English but he also learned French , Spanish and Chinese.
He loved painting he once created a mural covering 20 metres of wall space.
Some of his family and friends call him Beth.
He travelled throughout Canada and the United States giving speeches in support of democracy.
He visited many countries in times of both, war and piece.
He tried to help people achieve freedom and equality, both here in Canada and around the world.
Museums, schools and hospitals are named for him.
